Successful Coaching with Tangible Results

Have you noticed how some star performers at work seem to think they don’t need coaching? Yet the best athletes in the Olympics have not just one but often several coaches. Imagine what your star- performers could do if they had the same?

We often minimize the role of coaching as an unnecessary overhead cost. During this session, our facilitator Kelli MacIver, Director of Learning & Development for Cydcor, will focus on what makes coaching valuable to you and how to measure its value.

Objectives:

• Learn about effective coaching and related training techniques that provide tangible results and how you can implement them at your workplace right away.
• Review a coaching system that focuses on defining and clarifying employee goals, developing an action plan, offering resources and holding employees accountable.
• Leave with a “Professional Development Program” (PDP) template that our presenter has fine-tuned during 10 years of effective coaching.  

During this session, you will start a PDP Template for yourself to learn the process and identify a star-performer you’d like to implement with back at work. You will walk away with tangible action items to implement!

Kelli MacIvor has been with Cydcor for 16 years. Starting in Door to Door sales and working her way up to Director of Learning and Development. She built Cydcor's L&D department from the ground up and is currently embarking on exciting new ventures in gamification and microlearning. Kelli is a certified CPLP and has a passion for developing people.

Directions: Park in the guest parking garage or in the open lot. Enter through the 1st floor guest entrance and go up the stairs to the front desk/lobby area. The training room is in Tower 1, which is just to the right of the front desk/lobby area on the 2nd floor. A representative from ATD will be there to meet you and direct you to the room. The name of the conference room is the Mahogany Room.
