Shifting Your Career Into High Gear -- and Helping Your Team and Employees Do the Same

Consistent peak performance is not just a function of having the right skill sets; it is a matter of consistently taking control and managing our mindset. Mindset is what allows us to access more (or less) of our skill sets at any given time. No matter how good you are at your profession “technically,” you can never reach the top of your game without understanding and applying the principles of mind shifting diligently. Just as your car has multiple gears allowing it to go faster and faster as it up shifts with the same amount of horsepower, you can climb higher and higher in your career or profession with the same intellectual horsepower. However, to take it to the next level (and beyond!) requires knowing how to engage your higher gears. The ability to shift our minds into higher and higher gears allows us to experience more and more success.

This interactive session is designed for training leaders looking for strategies and techniques to inspire their training teams and for individual trainers seeking actionable strategies to elicit the best from their employees. About Don Cote

Donald R. Cote is the Founder and CEO of The Institute for Self Improvement, a published author and inspiring speaker. He has shared the stage with Brian Tracy, is a Certified Business Breakthrough Coach for Tony Robbins and has been the VP of his New England franchise. In addition, he has also taught Real Estate Investing, Business Growth and Funding Strategies for such companies as National Grants Conferences and Trump University. In his speaking career he has spoken to well over 150,000 people. Don has also traveled internationally as a Business Analyst for George S. May & Co., an international consulting firm. In addition to being a member of ASTD, Don is also active in the National Speakers Association (NSA). Don is most proud of his signature program, The LifeWorks by Design Life Mastery System. In this dynamic workshop, Don teaches his students how to design and REALLY live the life of their dreams. He has four adult children and is an avid scuba diver, motorcycle enthusiast and world traveler with his wife Gabriella.

If you’re coming from downtown take 215 W to Jones (Exit 14) and stay on Rafael Rivera Way – the service drive, stay to the right, building is on the right, and enter the main entrance and parking lot. There is plenty of parking in front and around the side. Please enter through the lobby doors and proceed to the HR/Talent Training Room. There will be guides on-site to direct you and to give you an attendee visitor badge.
